Montreux is more than just jazz

When you think of Montreux, the Jazz Festival is sure to come to mind. But the city on Lake Geneva has much more to offer. Katrina explored the Montreux Youth Hostel and its region – read her travel report here.

Up high!

David Hablützel tested the notorious Pinut via ferrata for us. The dizzying climbing tour through the Flimserstein actually did provide him with a thrill or two ;o-) - roll the film!

Would you like to relax in a charming small town?

Who says a short trip always has to be to the big cities in Switzerland? The many small towns are in no way less attractive than the big ones. On the contrary: small towns trump when it comes to charm and cosiness.

Summer in the City!

Dancing at festivals in the city is just as great as spending relaxed evenings at an outdoor bar or dangling your feet in the cold water at a city pool. A summer in the city is not all that bad and offers not only an urban feeling but also a lot of variety.

Basel - the perfect youth hostel for an exciting city break

With versatile indoor options, city trips are particularly practical when the meteorologists are forecasting rather modest weather. They are also suitable for travelling by train, so CO2 saving; Basel is in no way inferior to this. Natalie, however, is particularly enthusiastic about the lively diversity and thinks you should plan your next city trip to the vibrant city on the Rhine. Read her blog post to find out why.
