For decades, Ostello Scudellate has been a reference point for school classes and groups of friends looking to discover Mendrisiotto. The thoroughly renovated Ostello is today the ideal starting point for travellers of all kinds in southern Ticino. On the wide sun terrace on the flank of Monte Generoso, you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view of the Muggio Valley.

How to find us

By public transport / On foot:
From Mendrisio train station, take the bus in the direction of Ciasso to Castel S.Pietro, Posta station and then the bus to Scudellate, Paese. The Ostello is just a few steps from the bus station.

By car:
The hostel has paid parking in front of the hostel. We ask you to make sure you book in advance.

  • The Osteria Manciana and the Ostello form a wonderful symbiosis. The Osteria, which is only a few steps away from the Ostello, houses the double rooms and the restaurant.

    The reception is also located in the Osteria.
