Gstaad Youth Hostel receives platinum certification from Ibex Fairstay

Thanks to extensive improvements in various business areas, Gstaad-Saanenland Youth Hostel has achieved the next highest level of the Ibex Fairstay award.

The sustainability label Ibex Fairstay will confer its highest award, the platinum label, on Gstaad-Saanenland Youth Hostel for the first time in March 2022. The hostel has managed to rise from the gold to the platinum label thanks to extensive sustainability improvements on its part. It has made various efforts in the areas of finance, ecology and social issues in order to receive this award. For example, the testers praised its efforts to reduce power and energy consumption. Moreover, the hostel’s employees were increasingly able to benefit from in-company training opportunities, which also had a positive effect on the evaluation. 75 Swiss businesses already trust in the independent certification of Ibex Fairstay.
