The modern Schaan-Vaduz Youth Hostel is situated right on the famous Rhine Cycle Route. Incidentally, it is the only youth hostel in the Principality of Liechtenstein, a small kingdom that is the perfect destination for lovers of nature, culture and great cuisine.
Around half of the Principality of Liechtenstein is mountainous – and yet the climate is very mild thanks to the warming southern winds. Together with the landscape, it makes the “Ländle” a hiking and wine-growing paradise. The Principality is also known for its excellent wines, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Reisling. From its rich culture and tantalising cuisine to its stunning scenery, Liechtenstein is a true feast for all the senses.
