The Seetal valley is calling! Accommodation with cosiness guaranteed, fun on the water and guided tours of the castle awaits you at Lake Hallwil.

Beinwil am See
Aargau
Situated in a former farmhouse, the hostel invites guests to enjoy leisure activities in and around Lake Hallwil and explains which castles you can trace history in. Hallwyl Castle makes for a particularly impressive excursion. The only way into this medieval water castle is via a drawbridge. As construction is not allowed on the shore, a hike around the lake becomes an even more special experience in nature. Sports fans can burn some energy on the football pitch, while water lovers will find perfect refreshment in the lido (with free admission for all of our guests). And if you'd rather be in the saddle, you can hire a bicycle directly from Rent a Bike at the youth hostel.

Dragon valley Seetal
Dragon families in Beinwil am See
Since April 2018, the Beinwil am See Youth Hostel has housed an 18 m2 excavation site in its garden – including a water dragon skeleton. The excavation site is part of the Dragon Valley project, a new leisure activity that encompasses Lakes Hallwil and Baldegg and was launched by Seetal Tourism. This innovative project already won the SVSM Award 2018 at the end of September.
We invite families and children to set off on the search for dragons themselves, helping the Seetal dragon researcher Ferdinand Sigismus Maria von und zu Drachenfels with his work. A wide range of interactive stations for all ages awaits you and your family.
You can find more info about the Dragon Valley at www.drakologie.ch
