A class camp or a project week always means some stress. The Swiss Youth Hostels will minimise this stress for you.

Uncomplicated planning thanks to flat rates

  • Students and chaperones stay overnight at favourable fixed rates: from CHF 50/night/person including breakfast buffet and dinner.

    At the Bellinzona Youth Hostel, Burgdorf Castle Youth Hostel, WellnessHostel3000 Laax, WellnessHostel4000 Saas-Fee, Saignelégier and WellnessHostel St-Luc additional charges may incur. Prices are subject to change.

  • Planning and packing aidsTo make sure your students don’t forget anything, the Swiss Youth Hostels have put together two packing aids:

  • Room category
    Students stay in dormitories (4-8 beds), chaperones in private rooms (double room for 2 persons). Single rooms can be booked at the corresponding daily rate subject to availability.

  • Food and drink
    • Half board: Breakfast buffet and dinner without drink
    • Full board: Breakfast buffet, dinner and packed lunch without drink

  • Varied range of leisure activities
    Ideas and activities around the youth hostels as inspiration for your class camp

  • Fun and games
    Fun and games are guaranteed at our youth hostels: from outdoor games to board games, we are well equipped.

  • Group rooms 
    In many places, separate group rooms, game rooms and dining rooms can be used freely  

  • Preliminary visit 
    Visit the youth hostel before the camp itself and get an idea of our offering. If you book afterwards, we will gladly gift you the trial night.

  • Membership 
    Thanks to our membership card, you also benefit from many regional and national advantages.

  • Hire skiwear at a reasonable price
    Sports equipment can be rented for the whole school class at special rates from our partner Outdoor Service:
    Ski jacket: CHF 5.-/Tag
    Ski trousers: CHF 4.-/Tag
    Gloves: CHF 2.-/Tag
    Ski helmet: CHF 3.-/Tag
    Ski goggles: CHF 2.-/Tag
