The Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the most spectacular mountain landscapes of the Alps, extending over 824 sq km and almost completely in the High Alpine region. The Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch (SAJA) UNESCO World Heritage Foundation devotes its efforts to the maintenance and appreciation of this unique natural landscape, particularly with regard to education and raising public awareness. No fewer than four possible destinations await the school groups: First, Alpiglen, Eiger Glacier and the Hinteres Lauterbrunnental. An interesting circular walk learning about the nature, people and environment of the Alps as well as exciting stories on the multi-facetted natural and cultural landscape of this impressive mountain backdrop.

Thanks to the cooperation with the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Foundations and futher funds, school classes can experience an excursion in the Jungfrau Region almost free of charge this year!
