Let's vote!

This summer, four teams travelled across Switzerland to get to know our country better. Four teams took part in the Youth Challenge – the “Eidgeniesserinnen” (Swiss Confederation Girls), the “Kompanen” (Buddies), the Pastapläuschler (Pasta Chatterers) and, finally, team Hugo. The teams shared their trips on our Swiss Youth Hostels Instagram channel.

Although the teams have already won a week’s holiday in Switzerland, the winners of the big prize are still undecided and it’s up to you to decide who should win the CHF 10,000 for a trip to Europe. Which of the teams has planned the coolest trip and portrayed the trip on social media and our Overnight Blog the best? Vote for your favourite team now!

Our four teams

The Eidgeniesserinnen

The three girls travelled according to the motto of our four national languages. They started in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, in Montreux, and continued by boat and train to the metropolis of Zurich. They covered part of their journey by bicycle and visited Romansch-speaking Switzerland. The end of their journey was then in Ticino.

The Kompanen

The focus of their journey was the compass. Always aiming for the tip of the compass needle, they travelled from Burgdorf to Lausanne and then to Crans Montana. Switzerland's sunniest region was also not to be missed. The four of them continued on to Graubünden and finally back to Schaffhausen. A lot of improvisation was required.

The Pastapläuschler

The four Pastapläuschler and their mascot Pastacorn were on the road in the Bernese Oberland and Ticino. They started their trip in the historic castle of Burgdorf and then went up to the top with the best view of Lake Brienz. After an action-packed day in Grindelwald, Lugano was the final destination.

Team Hugo

The four girls of Team Hugo had big plans for their week in Switzerland. They started off with a load of action in Schaffhausen before heading to Lucerne. From Burgdorf they travelled on to Montreux and finally the long way to Ticino. They finished off with some reLaaxing.
